Bohemian Princess

Hello guys, after finishing my Bali trip story on this blog, now we're back again to the main menu which is my fashion post inspirations!

Now if you already guessed it from the title or you probably have seen my Instagram, so this time I took fashion experiment with Bohemian style. It was my first time to do this style but I did my best to present my kind of Bohemian without being afraid to copy another people Bohemian style. The feel of Bohemian was so strong because of the headpiece I wore. I've been wanting to use this kind of headpiece since the first time I saw Nicole Richie wore her jewelry line, House of Harlow. And.. finally, once again, a dream of mine was come true!

My favorite Bohemian muse at first was Nicole Richie, because when the early time of House of Harlow was released, she was rocking this style so well. Then there is Vanessa Hudgens who was so constant with her Bohemian style which so fresh and suitable for young people. So recently I like Vanessa's style more and I wish I could do more Bohemian style later.

Bali Adventure Day 3

The last part of my Bali trip story!

It was my third day in Bali which meant it was the last day to adventure Bali and visit some places before going home in the afternoon tomorrow.

So this time, we went a little bit far to the south of the island, but before we started the journey, we had lunch first at Warung Sunset (Specialist Iga Bakar) in Sunset Road. All the foods we had were so delicious and the Iga Bakar was so recommended! Then we were going to Krisna, a kind of department store for souvenirs from Bali, it was so huge and almost what you need were all here with reasonable price than any other places in Bali. We brought so many things for home tomorrow!

After almost two hours shopping, finally we started the journey to the south. Our first stop was Garuda Wisnu Kencana! It was a beautiful place and meant to be a historical place in Bali. The place was so huge! Still under construction and not complete yet after years. It place was up in the hills with cliffs surround its area, and there's so many statues there about Garuda and Wisnu.

Here is the pictures when I was there!

After finishing to look around this site, we continued the journey further South to Uluwatu and we're going up again. We visited Uluwatu Temple (Pura Uluwatu) and going to watch the popular  Kecak Dance (Tari Kecak) at sunset. This temple was built above the cliffs, so you could see the horizon sea around the temple area. It's such a magnificent place!

So, that's a wrap! It was my most beautiful and memorable journey this year and I hope there will be more to come later. Even though I'm already home for over a month but sometime I still miss Bali and the feel of being home in there. I had left my heart on that island for sure! And I'm so willing to come back again soon. Till my next memorable visit then, Bali!

Mango x Lookbook

Hi guys, finally my new fashion post beside my latest travel story at Bali.

This is the look that I submitted for a colab competition between Mango and Lookbook. It was a short decision to join the competition and also with a short thought about how to mix and match my old Mango outer to make it a fresh and new look worth to post on my blog and the competition (you can also see this outer on Pastel Mood article on March).

I was tried to recreate the outfit but changing the season preference and I got this A/W look ~than the S/S look in the previous article~ by matching the Pastel Mint outer with a Beige skirt and Brown ankle boots to get the Fall essence.

So here's my old-new look and let me know what do you think :)

Bali Adventure Day 2

Finally after a long wait, here it is my second day story at Bali..

In my previous post, I've told you that this trip was to celebrate our Fifth Wedding Anniversary in the early of October. It's really a lovely journey for our family and of course a memorable one. But still, I couldn't get enough of Bali and really want to come back again asap!

On this second day which also the exact day of our anniversary date, we were going to Ubud area! Firstly, we got lunch at Babi Guling Bu Oka in Ubud which already popular among Bali's visitors for its delicious taste. The place is actually comfy and not too crowded, also the traditional Bali interior was really on the point at the restaurant. The taste was good especially for the sambal. It's so delicious and spicy!

After lunch we were going straight to the Monkey Forest which not to far away from the restaurant. The forest was so beautiful, so green and very clean. Its area was so big and really was a beautiful nature. The monkeys were so civilized if I could say it. They were not cranky or naughty, in fact the were so calm and cute. They loved to be feed by the visitors with bananas.

Here they are the pictures..

As for the second and third places we were visiting Ubud Palace in the center of Ubud, then Saraswati Temple which not far from it. I was expected to see the famous Lotus of Saraswati Temple, but apparently only few lotus blossomed on my visit. It's really not a good timing :(

After took some pictures there, we rested a while at the nearest Starbuck inside Saraswati Temple area then going home for Dinner. And because it's our anniversary date and a special day, we wanted one memorable family dinner. So that's why we visited Biku, one of fancy restaurants in Seminyak and ordered some wines to celebrate. Cheers for us!
